We had Slyvia’s Colour and Design for Hair, Lida Emert for Makeup, Rita’s Floral Touch on the flowers, Respond if you Please on Invitations, Durkin Tent’s doing one of the biggest tents I’ve ever seen, Event Caterers did all of the food and my favorite, Vivid Events rocked the lighting, DJ and video services that night. This Wedding you should all be familiar with, it was the biggest one of 2014! Lorrie and Tony’s 300+ person wedding here at the Candlelight Farms Inn! This was the first time I had ever gone up to the Hangar, and that’s when I feel in love with all that this location has to offer! Huge thanks to Dorian my associate shooter for the day! So happy to have had your fun loving creative spirit capture the day with me. It was so great to continue working with the same amazing vendors too. Sending everyone that was part of this day lots of love! It was a beautiful fall day and I just love these two! From the first day we met, that was it, it felt like family, and I was so unbelievably happy to be part of your wedding day! Huge thanks to Garrett my associate shooter for bringing so much light and creativity to all the weddings we do together! All of our favorite vendors were there too! Lindsey Gallagher from Like Flutter for lashes did the makeup, Rita’s Floral Touch did the flowers Durkin Tent’s did an amazing sail cloth tent, Event Caterers was there providing some awesome family style eats and CNT Entertainment kept the party rockin all night!.
Our first wedding showcased is Danielle and John’s Wedding from October 2014. Best of Luck to owners Nancy and Carl as they embark on their new project! I wanted to share here are a few pictures I’ve captured from my time spent with my amazing couples and stellar team of photographers up at the hangar and at the farm. I have been so lucky to photograph some really special wedding there since 2013 and almost every time I went I would ask the owner Nancy, ‘Hey, can I take my couples up to the old air plane hangar on top of the hill?’ The answer was always a resounding yes! I dreamt of how wonderful it would be to create a venue out of it, and joyfully Nancy shared the same dream! I am so excited for the farm that they are now turning their dreams into a reality and are unveiling it Wednesday night April, 28 th. The stars aligned Saturday for Andrea and Keenon’s magical day at The Hangar at Candlelight Farms Inn in New Milford, CT. The rolling hills, vast views and romantic energy in the air surrounds you every where you go.
